Chloe's Bedroom

I finally started working on Chloe's bedroom! Last night I painted the first in a series of three paintings. There will be another one exactly like it and then one with a heart instead of a diamond and the pink and blue will be switched around. I'm planning one buying some Chocolate brown material to make a duvet for her(and maybe enough to recover her toy box with too).I'm planning on sewing her bedding to look like this. It will be brown, and then I will alternate the ribbon stripes with pink and white. Then I'll give her pink and blue cushions and accents all over her room. I might do brown curtains with ribbon trim too. And, when we one day have another, if they end up sharing a room, it's somewhat neutral in case it's a boy, and the new comforter will have blue and white trim instead of pink. So that's my plan for her room! I'm excited about it and think it will look really cute and be something she can grow into!

I like the painting. It all sounds very nice and will give you something to do while you wait for football season to be over.

I'm with Aunty Margaret. I want to see pictures when it's done. I love decorating kids rooms... Planning it all out... Ben and Sam have a jungle room, which I love, only it's done now... So... Nothing to do... Sigh.
