Chloe is now 18 months old which absolutely blows my mind! She is growing up way to fast and lately it seems like things are going in fast forward. All of a sudden she's decided it's time to start to talk. So far this is her vocabulary:
- Mummum
- Daddy
- Dasy/Dasda(Daxie/Daxter)
- puppup
- duck(and she makes a really cute quacking noise whenever she sees one)
- woof woof
- Gramummum
- Grapa
- baby
- appa(apple)
- craka(cracker/cookie)
- buh bye
- car
- bipuh(diaper)
- bup(bum)
- poop
- baw(ball)
- buh(book)
- uh huh
- boom boom(her nickname from her Daddy)
She also signs please, waves bye bye, blows kisses, gives hugs, big squeezes, kisses and cheek kisses(she holds onto your cheeks while she gives you a kiss). We were looking at her "people who love me" book the other day and she said something different for each of her Aunties and Uncles, I just didn't catch what she said, and she only said it once. But soon you guys will have your own Chloe given titles! Oh! And she does up her own velcro on her shoes and tries to tie Trevors laces.
We are also going to be reaching a very major milestone soon! When we get back from visiting Saskatchewan, we will begin pottytraining. If we weren't going on our 2 week holiday, we would probably be starting now, but we don't want the stress of it while we're there so we'll wait. She is showing so many signs of being ready. We bought a pottychair in Feb, and she loves sitting on it and reading her books. The other day, she got mad at me because I wasn't letting her go and sit on it while I was changing her diaper. She also comes and tells me when she needs her diaper changed and hates to sit in a dirty one. We also have a couple of reward systems we're trying to decide between. We might do stickers that earn fish or nickels for her piggy bank. We also have a doll and dollsized potty chair so she's going to get to help pottytrain her baby too! Today, we're going to pick up some little panties and other stuff we'll need so that we have it when we get back. We're also getting some rubber boots anda new spring jacket so we can go walking in the puddles this week.
So there's your update on my big(little) girl and thus on my life!

Chloe you are getting soo big! I can't wait to see you in two weeks! Love you lots!
Again, I am amazed at how glad I am that we all blog. I love knowing things like this about Chloe, even though I've never met her. And now, because Grandma and Grandpa are coming for a visit, I have no idea when I'll be out to Sask. Too many weddings this summer to do it...and then it's winter driving...ARGH. One of these days, I'll see her. Maybe at her wedding.
there's this one episode of yes dear (on tbs) where they are trying to potty train their little guy... they get this one doll that "poops" ping pong balls, everything was going fine until the little guy was trying to "load" himself with ping pong balls... i guess what i'm trying to say is stay clear of ping pong balls... can't wait to see you guys...
Her first pony tail. Amazing how we can't wait to get our little girls into their first ponytails. She is growing up very quickly, but I am so glad I can see her updates.
Ahhh, my little Tootsie-Lou. How fast you are growing. Me and Grandpa are sooo looking forward to seeing you and Mommy and Daddy at Easter and then you get to come on a long car ride with us. What fun we are going to have.
You are getting so big, even I can hardly believe it. It's just crazy already with how fast time is flying. I wish I could see you sometime and I hope it's before your wedding :P
Great pics!
Like Melanie, I'm so glad for these blogs! I love being able to see pictures of Chloe. It's kind of like I know her, even though we've never met. But there is something nice happening this summer, maybe you could come if you can afford it. ;)
