Lately Chloe has been having a lot of trouble sleeping on her own. We moved Daxter in with her and that helped for a little while, but has since stopped working. She cries because there is no one to take care of her. I have tried telling her that Jesus is always with her but she heartbreakingly counters that with "Jesus is only with Mommy and Daddy. He only lives in their hearts." I was talking about this with my Grandma who, in all her wisdom, suggested I tell her how Jesus can live in her heart. So last night when the meltdown started, I went down to her room and sat on her bed and we talked. She told me that Jesus only lived in our hearts and not hers. So I asked her if she wanted Jesus to live in her heart too. She calmed down and we talked about how when Jesus lives in your heart He never ever leaves and He's always with you to take care of you. I asked her if she would like that and she said yes. So we prayed. I said the words and she repeated them and both of us were on the brink of tears the whole time. It was really special to hear her little voice say those words. Some people may think 3 is too young, but I honestly believe that she understands it at her level and now my job is to make sure that as she grows so does her understanding of what she believes.

this is the best thing ever!! and yes i am sure that Grandpa is dancing with the angels because another one of his family has their name written in the Lambs book of life. Hallelujah !!!!!

The angels in Heaven are singing and dancing as God's hand writes Chloe's name in the Book of Life and Grandpa is rejoicing with them all. Thank you for sharing this precious moment with us.
