1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people. & post a comment here once you post it to your blog, so I can come see. I'm not going to tag anyone because I want to be the lame person who does that!
I don't have books that are that long, not even a phone book, we just use the internet. So, I'll just use page 23. Here goes:
"And I said to the cat,'This is very bad news.
Now the spot is all over DAD'S $10 SHOES!'
'But your dad will not know about that,' said the cat."
This is an excerpt from the book THE CAT IN THE HAT COMES BACK. It's the book that Chloe brought out for her bedtime story tonight. Speaking of Chloe, I may as well give an update while I'm writing.
Chloe is officially potty-trained! I am so excited. Over the weekend, we took Chloe out in public wearing regular, big girl panties! She told us when she had to pee and even went on the public toilets without any qualms! We no longer use training pants! She's all about her new Disney Princess panties. Today she didn't even wear pants. She didn't want to cover up "Sleeping Deauty"! Today she proved how potty-trained she is in the ultimate way. She got up, ran to the bathroom, pulled down her underwear, went pee, pulled up her underwear, announced it to me, and climbed back onto the recliner IN THE MIDDLE OF GO DIEGO GO!!! For those of you who don't know it's just about impossible to get Chloe's attention away from Diego. It took A LOT of convincing to get her to buy princess panties instead of Diego gitch at Walmart on the weekend. We would have even bought her the gitch, but the size 2(the smallest they make) were just about twice as big as the size 3x panties we bought her! That's the biggest news in our world.
We also went and picked up a bunch of boxes to start packing. I want to pack pretty much everything I can, save our clothes, some toys and some dishes, before we head out to Saskatoon on the 22. That gives me about 1 1/2 weeks. I don't think I'll get it all done, but I'm going to try. Trevor wanted to have boxes that were all the same size, so we went to the warehouse he used work at before we were married to by some. He visited for a while with a guy he used to work with and came back with about 60-75 brand new, unmade boxes for FREE! They aren't really huge which is nice because then they can't get packed too heavy, but they're big enough that our dishes and stuff will fit nicely. It'll be SO nice to not have to scavenge recycling bins for boxes! I still don't have a camera, but I've been playing with a few older photos in the last couple days! I'll sign off with those!
This is Chloe when she was a couple of weeks old with my Grandpa. I feel SO blessed to have gotten a chance to get pictures like these. Just before Grandpa passed, we spent a lot of time with him and Grandma helping them move and get settled into their new place. Chloe really got to know him and loves when the pictures of her and Great Grandpa pop up on the screensaver on our computer. Now I will be done writing!
