A BIG First

Today was a big first in the Lefrancois household. As all of you know, Chloe has these beautiful blonde curls that make us the envy of pretty much everyone we meet. Unfortunately, as often happens when hair grows, she has been getting some split ends. (By some, I mean LOTS!) Combing her hair every morning and a couple of times as needed throughout the day has become a form of torture in our house. I finally had to cave and do the one thing I swore I wasn't ever going to do. It was time for her first haircut. I started out planning on giving her a very minimal trim, but any of you who have tried to cut a toddlers hair know that it's easier said than done. After cutting it once and realizing it was really crooked, I decided on a length that I know I can get straight. And so here it is, the finished product! I think it makes her look quite cute! So far she still has her curls, so I don't have to grieve for them! Washing and brushing it is a breeze, which definitely makes it worthwhile! This super adorable little outfit was made by Trevor's mom! Don't you just Love it! The ducks are little pockets, a super cute incorporation of two of Chloe's favorite things!
That's all for now. Check back for pictures of our trips to Sask!

She would be cute in a brush cut. She does look a little more grown up though. I love the outfit and her toes.
